G.R.I.T. was built out of frustration with fitness apps that either do too much or not nearly enough. Most apps are generic workout loggers. The ones that actually apply progressive overload and periodization principles are expensive, complicated, or both.
G.R.I.T. is the middle ground: a clean, fast, opinionated app that applies the same hypertrophy principles used by evidence-based coaches — without the price tag or complexity.
What We Believe
- →Progressive overload is the only thing that truly matters for muscle growth.
- →Every muscle deserves a priority — not every exercise deserves equal volume.
- →Feedback (pump, soreness, effort) is data. Good programming uses it.
- →Simplicity beats complexity. You'll actually do the workout if the app gets out of your way.
